Respirator mask for child, a preventive protection against viruses...Welcome
KID-MASK is a company dedicated exclusively to Personal Protective Equipment for child. Our single and core objective is to protect children against SARS, Covid19,swine flu, bird flu, tuberculosis and other airborne illnesses. It drives our commitment to design and manufacture a line of personal protective equipment that combines advanced performance, comfort and style. We are the exclusive distributor of disposable face masks "Kidmask", a protective respiratory mask specifically adapted for children.
We offer to sell protective N95 masks effective against swine flu for seven to sixteen year olds.
Our N95 respirator mask is designed so that there are no non-contact areas between small children’s nasal aperture and the Kidmask. This is the main reason because of what an adult mask could not protect a child against viruses. With the Kidmask, no impure air is allowed into the respiratory passage. The N95 mask has 95% efficiency in filtering airborne particulates virus or bacteria from 0,3 micron. The "N" class means that it is not resistant to oil and the "95" is the filtration efficiency against the solid and liquid aerosols. Though these results do not constitute a warranty. We remind you that single use masks are personal protective equipment to reduce risk of contamination. They are designed to filter and not to kill virus, but they are an excellent way to protect your children .
The influenza virus H1N1 is an acute viral disease that is highly contagious.
It is a recombination of four different viruses: the North American swine flu, the North American bird flu, type A human flu and Eurasian swine flu. The combination of this four viruses gave the influenza virus A, as we know it today.
The virus is usually spread by coughs and sneezes, saliva droplets (and then spitting!) Or by physical contact. It’s symptoms, which may last a week, are substantially the same as those of the seasonal influenza.
As a flu, it is an infectious disease caused by a virus, if our body meets the seasonal flu every winter, it is the first time that it will meet this new one. It won’t be able to fight this form of H1N1 virus which spreads ten times faster than the seasonal flu.
All the studies show that children are the ones who are the most susceptible to catch the H1N1 virus .
Unlike the seasonal flu, usually affecting mostly older people, six out of every ten people affected by this virus are children under 15. It is the opposite of the seasonal flu that is dangerous for the older. Children under fifteen years constitute 37% of hospitalizations. Swine flu continues to spread and the children are the high-risk population because of the lack of protective respiratory masks specifically adapted for them.
There are so far two main types of masks against influenza:
The first type is surgical anti-splash masks:
Anybody who has the flu should wear a surgical mask. This mask is intended to avoid to the patient to contaminate its circle of acquaintances and its environment by his sneeze, his cough and his sputters, and consequently, does not protect from the virus. In the public places (stores, public transportation) or in the work, in the presence of the other people, the mask anti-projections will be strongly recommended when the distance of sanitary protection (2 meters) cannot be respected.
The second is the protective mask for adult N95, FFP2 and FFP3:
It is intended for the protection of the user against the risks of inhalation of pathogenic particles and the contagious infectious agents by air traffic (viruses, dusts, allergens). It is strongly recommended within the framework of the protection and of the prevention against the flu A.
For its carrier, N95, FFP2 or FFP3 mask reduces the risks of contamination by the virus. He must be carried in case of pandemic by the staff looking in the narrow contact of the patients, and he will be strongly recommended to the people who will be next to the public of a moved closer way (cashiers, salesmen), or who will manage the waste (garbage men) within the framework of their work, and in a more general way to the people who, within the framework of their professional activity, are directly exposed to the virus. The N-95 Particulate Respirator provides increased protection from airborne pathogens as compared to surgical masks. N-95 respirators form a tight seal around the nose and mouth with a filter efficiency of 95% of 0.3 micron particles. Surgical masks allow airflow around the loose outer edges, and therefore, provide poor protection for non-infected persons. The N-95 Particulate Respirator is appropriate for use by health care workers treating infected patients according to the CDC guidelines . Although the influenza A(H1N1) virus size is 0.1 microns in size, it will usually be encapsulated in a moisture droplet that results in a particulate size exceeding 0.3 microns, which is the particulate test size utilized for the N-95 respirator.
A mask N95, FFP2 or FFP3 of grown-up size does not adapt itself to the small face of the children !!!
The national Institute for the safety and the health (NIOSH) in the United States of America, tests and certifies the respiratory devices on the market, such as the standard of masks N95. This test is, however, made only for the adults. The certification determines the efficiency of filtration and does not guarantee the mask adapts itself or not has all the morphologies. The adult’s masks who are certified respiratory masks by the NIOSH, have fixed sizes and are not made in specific sizes to the children.
The children who wear respiratory masks of grown-up size, even if it is about a mask certified by the NIOSH, will consequently, be exposed to the contamination of the air because of their inadequate shape. (This above, photo of a grown-up mask which does not protect).
To propose an alternative solution for all faces against the world pandemic, our center of production developed a respiratory protective mask for child of class N95: the KIDMASK
